On November 22, 2025, the 15th Rendez-vous Bundesplatz came to an end with the “Voyage” program. Around 465’500 visitors embarked on a visually and acoustically stunning journey around the world this year.
From the Matterhorn to the Eiffel Tower in a hot-air balloon, from India to Thailand by steam train, and across New York in a taxi: the Rendez-vous Bundesplatz light and sound spectacle thrilled audiences once again in its 15th edition with three-dimensional effects and unusual perspectives. For five weeks, three times a night, visitors were transported from Bern to the world’s greatest sights. This year’s live performance by the musician collective “Take This” added a special touch.
“This year’s program fascinated our travel-loving audience in a special way,” says organizer Brigitte Roux. Dancing elephants at the Taj Mahal, the Cristo statue in Rio de Janeiro, or London’s Big Ben, which seems to rise up from the facade of the Houses of Parliament – the audience had certainly never experienced the world’s great landmarks in this way before. Despite sometimes adverse weather conditions with strong winds and rain, 465’500 visitors were counted on the square.
